To Lake Titicaca
The highest navigable lake in the world and the birthplace of the Inca empire, Titicaca is a stunning expanse of vibrant blue water. Here you visit the floating reed islands of the Uros Indians and explore Taquile Island with its traditional way of life. Crossing the altiplano you pass typical Andean villages as you head to the centre of Inca civilisation.
Inca Heartland
In the Sacred Valley you’ll spend time exploring the fascinating profusion of Inca sites. There’s a free day for optional rafting, horse riding or mountain biking in the Urubamba Valley. Travel by train for a stunning ride to the most famous and impressive Inca site of all - the lost city of Machu Picchu. Your journey ends in delightful Cusco.
Saver Fare Option
We have negotiated a number of special tickets with our airline partners, which can save you up to £200 per person on selected dates. To qualify the airfare needs to be paid in full at time of booking and the trip needs to be guaranteed. Please call our Travel Consultants quoting 'saver fare option' for more details.
Go for £899
Click on the ‘land only’ button above price panel to see how much this trip costs excluding flights. This is the headline price many operators use, but clearly you’ll still have to add flights on. You can book ‘land only’ trips with us and we can help you source flights separately if you desire, which may save you money, especially if you take the ‘Saver Fare’ option.
Responsible Travel
For each person travelling on the trip we will donate £5 to the charity SOS Children to help them with their community-based projects supporting under-privileged children in Peru.
Extensions
Why not extend your holiday for a few more days to experience another aspect of this fascinating country? Have a look at the possibilities below.

Amazon Jungle Extension
£400
The Amazon Basin covers two-fifths of South America, meaning that no visit to this amazing continent is complete without exploring the most bio-diverse environment in the world. Flying from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado you'll then head by motorised canoe into the heat of the jungle to your lodge. A stay in the Amazon is like being enclosed in another world; for many people the most vivid memories are falling asleep to sounds of the jungle. By day you'll hopefully see turtles, monkeys and macaws as well as stunning flora.
