On this Delhi tour, you will explore Delhi’s best known temples as well as some that are off the tourist trails. Goa Extension
Relax and unwind after your journey to Northern India in the former Portugese colony of Goa. You'll stay in a comfortable hotel in a beautiful palm-fringed location on the edge of a private beach, where you can enjoy the friendly spirit of Goan culture.

You'll have the morning to spend at your leisure before catching a transfer to Delhi Airport. Take a short flight (just over an hour) to the former Portugese colony of Goa. You'll be transferred to your hotel, about 35km away, situated on Varca Beach. Hotel - 4 nights (B)

Generally, Goa is split into three sections - the north, central and the south. The pace is slow and the atmosphere relaxed in the south, where you'll be staying. You'll have three full days to relax here on a relatively undeveloped beach, away from the crowds. (Bx3)

Legend has it that Lord Shiva was the founder of this magnificent city over 5,000 years ago making it not only the world's oldest inhabited city but also one of the most importatnt destinations for Hindu pilgrims. Explore the atmospheric 'Old City' with its narrow winding lanes, near the banks of the Ganges.

You'll enjoy a free day in Delhi today. Your rooms will be available for you to use until about midday. Later, you'll be taken to rail station for an overnight train journey to Varanasi. It might be worthwile stocking up on some snacks for the train during your free time today. Sleeper berth - 1 night (B) Nb. The train journey is unaccompanied.

Explore Varanasi
You'll arrive in Varanasi early this morning and you'll transfer to to your overnight hotel. A local guide will escort you on a morning tour of the city's main sights, including a boat trip onto the Ganges, and brief you on options for your free afternoon and evening. Hotel - 1 night (B)

Sarnath and Ghats
Another spot of sightseeing this morning as you'll take an early morning escorted visit to Sarnath and the Ghats. Early this afternoon, you'll transfer to airport, for a domestic flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival you'll transfer to your overnight hotel. Hotel - 1 night (B)

The trip ends here at the Delhi hotel for Land Only clients. Those on group flights transfer to Delhi International Airport for flight home. (B)
