Seeing 3 tigers & a leopard! Being able to "sit back & not worry about a thing".
[Least enjoyed] The overnight train journeys. Lovely swimming pools at some of the hotels & no time to use them. I knew there was a lot of travelling involved but the train journey to Varanasi was just a bit too much.
The itinerary in Varanasi was not as scheduled.
I knew that the Indian electrical system isn't up to the European standard but if this had been my first time in India I might have been taken back a little.
The hard work & expertise of Balbir Singh Rathore went a long way towards making it such a successful trip.

Taj Mahal, seeing tigers and a leopard
Did not like overnight train journey but am very glad to have done it as it is a part of Indian life
Very varied and interesting. The time went very quickly
A really good leader who went the extra mile to help us. Very knowledgeable and efficient Would recommend him

Seeing tigers and a leopard in the National Park and the trip son the river ganges were the highlights for me. The transfers were excellent but the plane from Varanasi was brought forward and we did not know until we were at the airport. We had a worrying time until we got through security.
At Varanasi we arrived at 8 in the morning but did not meet our guide until the early evening. As it turned out we were glad to rest by the pool but the itinerie said we would sight see that morning. We in fact prefered what we got!
[Least enjoyed] A few really long days and very little time to enjoy some of the facilities some of the hotels had to offer.

Excellent intorduction to India giving a feel for local culture and sights. Nice balance between bustling cities, (busy) monuments and more relaxed rural Ranthambore -no doubt in part because we were really lucky to see 3 tigers and a leopard in our short stay there

This was my first trip to India and the first time I had travelled alone - and it was amazing from start to finish, made perfect by Babeel our wonderful guide. The absolute highlight was seeing three tigers and a leopard at Ranthambourne, although the Taj came a very close second!!
It would have been lovely to have spent a day relaxing somewhere
The group leader made the holiday. He was able to offer wonderful historical commentry, whilst also telling us about every day life in 2012. Babeel enabled us to have several adventures during our holiday and see some real India, whilst catering to the needs of all the group who were aged from 15 to 74!

Rudy the guide was briliant. He thought we looked like Bollywood film stars who we did not know, so he organised a cinema movie night to show us!
Tajtastic!
A couple of coach trips of over 4hs length = tedious.
Loved all of the Temples and palace excursions. Could have done more in Delhi.
We stayed in some special palaces and mansions, which were wonderful. Another night in the one in Agra would have been good.
We loved Rudy! So attentive to our every needs, made the holiday relaxing, comfortable and fun.
