An active itinerary in an ideal location, taking advantage of Peru’s varied terrain just for teenagers. Enjoy the vibrant city of Cusco, the colourful Sacred Valley and the chance for all the family to trek the Inca Trail.
From Lima, on the arid Pacific coast, you fly to Cusco, the seat of Inca rule for some 500 years and then drive to your base in the Sacred Valley. From here you enjoy activities including biking, walking and optional rafting, passing remote farming villages, Inca ruins and the curious terraces of actively mined salt pans. Continuing through the Sacred Valley you join the Inca Trail and set off on a four-day trek through dramatic mountain scenery to the lost city of Machu Picchu, isolated amongst jungle-clad mountains and swirling mists. Leaving the solitude of Peru’s most enchanting Inca citadel you return to Cusco, the seat of Inca rule for some 500 years. As a final contrast you could take the optional extension to the Amazon rainforest, home to a diversity of life unequalled anywhere on Earth.

Hiking the Inca Trail
The Inca Trail
You'll spend four days walking along the famous Inca Trail, enjoying fabulous views as you go. The campsites need to be seen to be believed, you might find your self perched above the clouds looking out on the craggy peaks of the Andes over breakfast! You'll trek beside rivers, explore ancient ruins and walk through cloud forest, before arriving at the culmination of your trek - Machu Picchu.
Start Trek
A real highlight of the tour! You will walk through the patchwork fields high above the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, you will stay in a local village house for the night and soak up the culture and lifestyle of the Andean people. In the morning, you'll collect mountain bikes and descend into Ollantaytambo past the Inca site of Moray and the salt pans at Maras. This is an easy ride but a safety car is always on hand if you need a rest.
Cusco & The Sacred Valley
The ancient Inca Capital and one of the biggest pre-hispanic settlements in America. Here, you'll discover the impressive temple fortress of Sacsayhuaman. See colourful Pisac market and stay in the Valle Sagrado (Sacred Valley), a lovely fertile valley which produces maize and fruit for the Cusco region. From your base you walk, bike, raft and if you would like, horse ride all around this beautiful region.
