Trip Overview: 

The snow-clad mountains of the Tatras are the perfect base for an invigorating week of winter activities. Try your hand at snowshoeing, cross country skiing, down hill skiing or boarding, sledging and other winter based activities. There is also time to relax in thermal pools.

Snowshoeing

Spend a day snowshoeing up in the mountain, on snowshoes you can reach areas inaccessible on skiis, the views are fabulous. Your leader will expertly guide you on your expedition as you follow in the footsteps of smugglers from the past.

Skiing Downhill & Cross Country

Wearing cross country ski's you travel across a frozen lake, getting a full body work out as you go! On another day it's a chance for some more traditional downhill skiing, or maybe you prefer to snowboard, the choice is yours for a full day on the slopes.

Dog-sledding

One of the highlights of your week will be the chance to go dog-sledding. Across the border in Poland you will learn how to harness your dogs before setting off across the snow. Everyone gets a chance to take charge and to be driven as a passenger - hearing the fizz of the runners in the frozen snow as you whoosh along is truly magical.
