What did you enjoy most about your trip? Our moutain guides and porters were excellent, and I wouldn't have made it to the top without them

Time spent in South Luangwa NP was a definite highlight.

Time spent in South Luangwa NP was a definite highlight. We saw a great range of game on the drives and the walking safari, including leopard, wild dogs and Pel's Fishing Owl. Having a hippo walking round our tent in the night was quite an experience.

We didn’t have the two field guides as advertised by Sunway, instead one very inexperienced young guide plus a driver. The guide behaved in an immature manner, had no understanding of group dynamics and poor interpersonal skills. His briefings were often muddled and confusing and, on many occasions, only addressed those of the group who happened to be nearby.
He had an irritating way of making general statements about “Africa”  when referring to “Southern Africa” would have been more appropriate as the supposed “facts” he was conveying had no relevance to North, East and West Africa.
He seemed to have little knowledge of the culture of Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Information we were given on these countries was very sparse.  In game drives on Luangwa, he found it difficult to allow the excellent local guide to get on with his job and kept interrupting to make comparisons with Kruger which were not relevant at that stage of the tour.
However, the driver, Jacob, was excellent. He drove very considerately and safely.
