The team in Tanzania was phenomenal.

The team in Tanzania was phenomenal. Jacob and Wilson are amazing guys and excellent guides. The trip had been extremely enjoyable and their contribution to the overall success is very significant indeed.

[Least enjoyed] Connecting flights. There was significant amount of time waiting for connecting flights.

Jon in sales team and Amy in customer service are exceptional.

Exceptional really.....Please aim to retain his services for all future trips.

Tour guides were excellent

Tour guides were excellent tents and particularly matresses provided were excellent

[Least enjoyed] Flights, particulalry return flight was poor with extended stop-over in airport to 1am - made it hard going would have been helpful to have other options even if these added cost travelling with children and sitting in airport from 7pm to 1am waiting for flight was not good

would have been useful to know about electrical charging opportunities - we spent considerable money on additional batteries and solar charges - all unnecessary as the trucks were fitted with UK sockets for charging The itineray under-estimated number of hours travelling on dirt roads - would have been good to be better prepared for this

accommodation is basic - but was expected to be so - location was excellent, so you can put up with basic loos! Hooks on shower doors would be helpful

group leader was excellent - the local people working as tour guides should be paid at least as much as foreign people working in Tanzania. it is outrageous how little the locals are paid in comparison and I would strongly recommend you consider moral and ethical issues that this raises

The Safari was amazing

The Safari was amazing especially the serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.  Kilimanjaro was a fab experience and seeing the sunrise really is something special

[Least enjoyed] The long wait at Addis Ababa airport

Overall it was so good

Visiting the Ngorongoro crater, Seeing a pack of lions up close in the Serengeti, Being in the middle of the Serengeti migration - the sounds and the smells, The excellent service provided by our group leader, Martin

[Least enjoyed] None worth mentioning - overall it was so good

The order in which we visited the different parks was very well planned - things just kept getting better, even though we were really pleased with the first park!

[Accommodation] Although I have given it a low star rating - we were camping so that's what was expected.  Overall the itinerary was fair in its description of the facilities, except at the camp site in the Serengeti where there was only one squat toilet for all the women who were staying at the site, and it just was not good.

We visited a Masai village.  I do not feel particularly comfortable with viewing the way people live as a tourist, but we joined in as there was clearly an economic benefit to the community.

Martin was excellent overall

WOW! What an incredible trip we had

Below is feedback we have received from a group who travelled on a private departure of this tour:

WOW! What an incredible trip we had! I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the whole group. You have both been fantastic and very helpful for me when organising the trip, answering my numerous questions and providing valuable information.

The safari was incredible, amazing, mind blowing and burst all our expectations. Not only did we see ever animal, including the big 5 but they were all really close (apart from the 2 rhino's). We had lions using the vehicles as shade, witnessed a large pride of lions eating a zebra, saw the wonderful great migration of zebra and wilderbeast and we had a bull elephant charge us! Sounds scary but we felt so safe in our vehicles and with our guides Wilson and Francis, it was just brilliant!!

What can we say about Wilson and Francis....... What wonderful people!! They couldn't have been any better. We loved Wilson for his passion and knowledge of the animals and birds, and Francis for his humour and great nature. They made our safari the magnificent adventure that it was, I will always be thankful to them!

I asked the rest of the group if they wanted to added anything to this, see below -

Our wonderful adventure would not have been the same without our friendly knowledgeable guides and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They were professional, patient, polite and were always attentive to our needs.
We all like them immensely.

"The lovely Wilson and Francis.... such likeable, fun guys, whose
professionalism, forethought and caring nature, ensured we had the most
amazing, stress-free time. Their vast experience of safari and knowledge of
the animals and environment, meant that we could sit back and completely
relax, with absolute confidence in the fact that they would care for our
every need (even before we knew we had a need!!). Every successful Safari
trip needs a Wilson and Francis - I feel so fortunate that they were our
guides - to share their enthusiasm and care - I cannot thank them enough for
the effort they put into our wonderful experience. S "

We all enjoyed the safari immensely and didn't want to come home, flying onto Zanzibar was the best thing ever!
We all slept quite a lot and enjoyed laying on the beach, it also gave us a chance to sit, chat and process the great safari adventure we had just experienced!

Another wonderful thing happened......... My boyfriend B proposed to me watching the sunrise in Zanzibar, that was a fantastic surprise and a great end to an incredible trip.

This trip meant a lot to all of us and we are thankful to the adventure company! I may be in contact regarding mine and B's honeymoon ;-) we are thinking maybe The Inca Trail!

Thank you again!

You and The Adventure Company have had a positive effect on all of our lives.

From the rest of the group I wish you both love and happiness

opportunity to see the animals in their natural environment

Seeing a bull elephant drinking water from the over flowing water tank in the camp behind the cook house. It was brillant watching it drink so close. Having the opportunity to see the animals in their natural environment. Everything was very well organised and to a very high standard.

He [Martin] was very good at answering questions and fully explaining the details.
