This family holiday in Tanzania offers a truly unforgettable Tanzania safari, where you explore two of the world’s greatest game reserves - the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater - and see the famous Olduvai Gorge and the little-visited Lake Manyara National Park. This is the ultimate African trip, including game drives by 4WD vehicle, camping in both open bush and in comfortable fixed tent safari camps, and experiencing the sights and sounds of a lively market town. During this family holiday to Africa there is an astonishing array of wildlife on our safaris, including zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah, rhino, gazelle, leopard, elephant, wildebeest and many more. Serengeti
Spending a full day traversing the grasslands of the Serengeti on this marvellous Tanzania safari, you can see an incredible variety of animals, including lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and cheetah.
Lake Natron & Manyara
Your Tanzania safari holiday is full of spectacular sites, witness the turquoise waters of Lake Natron which are home to huge numbers of flamingos, creating a spectacular sight. An optional scenic hike takes you up to a waterfall which you can swim under. The lush greenery surrounding Lake Manyara makes for a very different wildlife experience. You will feel like you have stepped into the Jungle Book as you watch monkeys play in trees and elephants make their way through the bushes.
Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro crater is often called 'Africa's eden, or the '8th Natural Wonder of the World' as this is a place like no other for wildlife watching. If you are lucky on your Tanzania safari, you will spot one of the rhino's resident in the park, or catch a glimpse of the elusive leopard. There are over 90 lions living around the crater within 4 to 5 prides, they are also locally called 'Sikio lala' or 'The Sleeping Ear'.
