Extend your adventure
Extend your trip to visit the rainforest. Glide down the mighty Amazon in dugout canoes (keep your eyes peeled for Aligators!) perhaps try fishing for piranha and venture into the jungle on foot to seek out birds and monkeys in the surrounding rainforest.

Flight to Manaus
On the last day in Brazil, you will transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Manaus, gateway to the Amazon. In the afternoon there will be a short city tour of this fascinating place. Hotel (AA) - 1 night (B)
Amazon Lodge
You'll head out by boat to your home for the next two days, a lodge on the banks of the Amazon River. There will be guided walks and boat trips included, night walks, pirhanha fishing, bird watching and alligator spotting. Lodge 2 nights (AAA) (BLD)
Trip ends
Return to Manaus and onward to the airport. Times may vary depending on flights. (B)
Extend your trip to visit Salvador, Brazil's 'capital of happiness', renowned for its easy-going population. You'll have the chance to experience Salvador's famous cuisine, music, coastline, and architecture during your stay. You'll also visit a Bahian grass-roots youth initiative where you'll get closer to local communities, take a tour of their neighbourhood and see a lively capoeira performance.

Flight to Salvador
You will transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Salvador, known as 'Brazil's capital of happiness' due to its easygoing population and many outdoor parties. Salvador is renound for its cuisine, music, coastline and architecture. Hotel - 3 nights (AA) (BD)
Visit Estrela
This morning you will pay a visit to the Estrela community based tourism project where you will get a better understanding of everday life in Salvador. Here you will meet young people and talk to them about what it's like to live in Salvador. They will take you on a tour of the neighbourhood and you'll experience a youth performace of afro-dance, theatre, capoeira or samba. You will have the afternoon free to spend as you wish. (B)
Relaxing on the beach
You'll have a free day today. You may wish to spend your time relaxing at the beach. The Salvador coastline is one of the longest for cities in Brazil and beaches range from those that are suitable for swimming, or ones with stronger waves for surfing or even beaches surrounded by reefs, perfect for rockpooling. (B)
Trip ends
The trip ends for Land Only clients. Those with our onward flights will transfer to the airport to catch your early evening flight.
