This trip offers the perfect combination of superb wildlife experiences, activity and relaxation. Search for animals on game drives in Kruger, on foot in Hlane and from waterholes in Mkuzi. Relax on magnificent beaches and in crystal clear waters in the tropical paradise of Mozambique and for a little activity, there are also walks in Kosi Bay, optional kayaking on the Uembje lagoon and the option of exploring underwater by snorkelling or diving.

Zululand
In Zululand you'll take game drives to see endangered Black rhino at Mkuzi and visit a Zulu village before continuing to Kosi Bay, an estuarine habitat of mangroves, lakes and dune forests. You explore by boat and on foot, and may see Leatherback turtles laying eggs in the sand (Nov-Jan). You stop at the Hlane Game Reserve in Swaziland - a small park containing large antelope herds and considerable numbers of predators.
Maputo & Xai Xai
In its heyday Maputo vied with Cape Town and Rio as the world’s most beautiful city, and much of the old charm is still visible in its crumbling buildings and dilapidated waterfront. Up the coast in Inhambane you see evidence of Arab influences from a time when slaves, ivory, gold and spices were traded. You can take a trip on a fishing dhow, swim or snorkel around the reef or explore quiet towns nearby.
Kruger National Park
The finale to the trip is your stay in the vast Kruger National Park, one of the greatest natural sanctuaries in the world. During your game drives you should see many of the numerous large mammal species that exist here including lion, giraffe and elephant.
