...Personally I enjoyed the Aarti ceremony at Haridwar for spectacle, Fatipur Sikri (I've visted the Taj mahal before)and the Ganges beaches (what a surprise - they looked like the Caribean).

I kept waiting for the dull day - it never came.

there were so many - where do i start. I loved the Taj Mahal but maybe Fatepur sikri more? I loved the overnight train experience. The tiger sent shivers through all of us. Evening prayers at Haridwar was very moving. But, the visit to the school in the most beautiful landscape i have ever seen was tremendous. I kept waiting for the dull day - it never came.

Sheetal was truly amazing. I cannot recommend her enough. She made the trip totally stress free. She was patient with the children and upbeat every day. Her local knowledge was outstanding and her ability to take charge of every situation, with a smile, was very reassuring.

Seeing the Himalayas

Seeing the Himalayas on a clear day.
The Taj Mahal
Excellent food.

[Least enjoyed] Several long days in a coach. The one used between Delhi & Agra had no suspension! Delhi traffic is horrific of course!

Office staff seem to have minimal knowledge of the trip. The advice they provided regarding clothing needed was extremely poor in particular. It would be helpful if someone had in-depth knowledge of the trip.

A unique experience of the foothills of the Himalayas

'The trip allowed us to get a unique experience of the foothills of the HImalayas in a way we never would have done if we had travelled independently.

The trip was at Christams and the weather information seemed too general - i.e. it was quite cold and none of the group had sufficient warm clothing.

The Lodge in the hills was very cold and not very clean - but a gorgeous setting!

Avdeesh went out of his way to be helpful to everyone and remained cheerful and lively at all times. Really good with the children too.

We have just returned from this amazing 11 day tour of India.

The experience was one whcih will be remembered forever. It was truely a cutural experience. The highlights of the trip: Taj Mahal - You can not appreciate the beauty of building until you see it up close and personal. Tiger spotting in Corbet National Park - This was an adrenalin experience, having a tiger less than 25ft away from you is an experience and memory that will never be forgotten. Camping on the Ganges - This was a real treat which allowed us to relax and reflect on what we had seen in India. The camp site was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We went with an open mind and sense of humor, this is something we recommend travellers take. The group we travelled with were so much fun and the guide we had was excellent. This trip is certainly recommended for those who want to experience the diverse culture, vast landscape and experince India at its very best.
