Amritsar
Visit the Golden Temple – the vast, sacred Sikh sanctuary. You’ll also visit the town of Wagah on the border with Pakistan to see the change of guard ceremony.
The Dalai Lama
Your journey today will take you to a Tibetan settlement and monastery enroute to Dharmshala. The suburb of Mcleod Ganj is residence of the Dali Lama and the exciled Tibetan government.
Indian Train Journeys
The ‘Shatabdi Express’ train will take you to Kalka and then a scenic journey on the ‘Himalayan Queen’ will complete your trip to Shimla, the former summer capital during the British rule in India.
