Iceland's natural wonders
Formed by volcanic eruoptions, the rugged Reykjanes peninsula is a dramatic landscape dotted with lava fields, volcanoes, cliffs and caves. A great introduction to the natural wonder of Iceland. The blue lagoon is one of Iceland's most famous sights. Amid dark black rocks, the bright blue waters reach temperatures of 40 degrees, making them a great place to relax.
Whale Watching and Southern Coast
Head out into Reykjavik harbour for an opportunity to spot whales - minke and humpback are common on the shoreline around the bay. Then head down to the south coast, where you can see rocky headlands, craggy bird cliffs as well as visiting the Golden Circle, home to countless glaciers.
Super Jeeps and Glaciers
A trip to Iceland would not be complete without a visit to a glacier. Do this in style as you travel up to the ice in a super jeep - specifically designed for travellnig over rough, strenuous terrain. Once you are on the glacier, then you can switch to snowmobile to travel deeper into the ice. This trip is popular for solo travellers and groups alike.
