Seeing 2 male cheetahs on our way out of Kruger National Park
It was a shame that Sunway Safaris used a standard mini bus for safaris in the parks which was a little restrictive particularly in relation to photo/video opportunities; this was mitigated a little by only a small group in the vehicle.
Most accommodation was basic but the location always more than made up for this e.g. in the Drakenberg mountains
Our group leader, Adriaan Smit of Sunway Safaris, was excellent and added a great deal to our enjoyment.

Joburg Botanical gardens. Bourne River Canyon. Kruger and it's cheeters marking in tandem. Ishandwala and Roukes Drift being so original and unspoilt. Drakensberg Mountains. Thunderstorms and 8 hours of lightening do not detract and even make the experiance more stimulating.
Gavin was an excellent leader with a wide knowledge of S.A. wildlife and culture. Unfortunately the second guide did not hold a PVT License and so could not share the driving. There were some long drives and although these were were broken up with sufficient stops it would have been safer with two drivers in case of illness or fatigue.

'Visiting the Kruger National Park.
We had two tour guides, and both were excellent, however only one was able to drive the vehicle, which, on a tour with so much travelling, seemed over dependent on him. He had some long days of driving.
