Trip Overview: 

This trip offers a combination of relaxing beach time together with the excitement of an African safari. The Mombasa coast offers great beaches and plenty of optional activities for those who like to keep busy. Tsavo National Park is comfortably close by and provides all the game viewing that you could want in a variety of landscapes, whilst you stay in comfortable lodges. Visiting a Tatai tribe village gives a great insight into their culture which will no doubt delight the kids and grown up.

Beaches and Snorkelling

Mombasa sits on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Here you stay in a comfortable, family friendly resort hotel with great facilities and plenty of space for the kids to run around in tropical gardens. Enjoy a full day snorkelling on your boat trip and spend the day discovering the underwater world of brightly coloured fish and corals with your mask and snorkel. There is plenty of time for swimming and beach activities topped off with some African sunshine.

Families on Safari

Tsavo National Park is a vast protected wildlife area not far from Mombasa which makes it ideal for a family safari adventure. In the varied landscapes of this park you will discover large herds of elephant, even larger herds of buffalo, plus lion, maybe an illusive leopard, and rhino. The kids will love watching the hippos and crocodiles as they swim around their pools or bask in the hot sunshine. A visit to a local village of the Taita community allows you all to learn about their fascinating life style, your Kenyan safari adventure is complete.
