Reviews
Don't take our word for it - read through our customer reviews. All of these have been published without any editing.Overnight in Dana Nature Reserve and the 2 days in Petra. Hotel in Petra was amazing. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly.

Visit to Petra. Unexpected highlights/sights including Jerash. Tour operator very efficient. Most hotels, including last minute change were really lovely. Desert camp felt very exclusive.
[Least enjoyed] early morning flight home, meant only 4 hours sleep and only one afternoon in final hotel. Fynan Eco lodge was too hot to sleep in the middle of the summer - may have prefered to stay at Dana.
Would have liked to have been offered the option of staying in our final hotel for an extra night, as this would have made the world of difference. In general - itinerary was well constructed, with not too much travelling (except last day) and good value for money.

Experiencing wadi Feynan at night............viewing the stars was incredible! Wadi Rum experience including the drive and the overnight stay in the Bedouin tent. It was exceptionally well done. And we were fortunate enough to taste our guide's cooking from the open campfire! And the food was very yummy! Of course Petra including the walk down through the siq & seeing the treasury for the first time then climbing the step to the monastery. It was all spectacular. Jerash was incredible to see as well! Floating in the Dead Sea was quite the experience as well!
[Least enjoyed] I enjoyed my walk through the Dana Nature Reserve but was not overly impressed. The Eco Lodge was incredible but wish they had been set up for sleeping outside. Perhaps there were just too many bugs to do that. The rooms were very hot and difficult to cool down & the pillows were rock hard. I think these are minor issues easily overcome and does not take away from the fact that they have an incredible site set up. Their food was incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
It was a well planned itinerary. Just the right amount of time at each location.
All accommodation spots were excellent. Good choices!
Our group leader did an exceptional job! He was knowledgeable, able to share his knowledge & was able to balance the amount of information given.

Difficult to say as it was all very enjoyable. I loved staying in the eco-hotel in the desert and using the telescope at this site was very interesting. The lecture on the stars was great and we lay on the roof for hours watch shooting stars.
[Least enjoyed] Dhana nature reserve. It was somewhat untidy/unkempt. I would rather have spent longer on the morning hike in the desert: this was much more interesting.
The hotels were pristine and beautifully presented in all cases. Although the desert eco hotel was more basic it made up for this in location and atmosphere!
Sam our guide was great. His recommendations for meals were excellent and he was very knowledgeable.

The guide, Osamah was the best guide I have ever had. The price on the websit was the price I paid (this is v unusual in the industry) The itinerary was accurate The tour covered everything i wanted to see The flights were good
I think the tour (Jordan - 8 days) should be listed as moderate rather than easy as some people may not be able to complete all of the activities
Make sure you use Osamah for every tour you can, he is excellent
[Accommodation] I wasn't expecting much for the price of the holiday, but it exceeded my expectations. The hotel in Petra was outstanding for the price we paid
I felt that we were helping the local communities with tips and meals, the guide helped us find good local places
Osamah was outstanding a credit to your company and a credit to Jordan. The driver was also excellent

Visits to Petra and Wadi Rum
Would have been good to have the option of walking from the Ecolodge to Dana
The Ramada in Amman was not up to the standard of the rest - OK for one night but less so for two
Very helpful in advising on value for money and finding good reasonably priced meals.
Petra Ecolodge Wadi Rum
[Accommodation] Ramada Hotel Amman - poor. Thought Movenpick Wadi Musa excellent, then went to Dead sea Marriott - out of this world. Bedouin camp an experience not to be missed, better sleeping in the open.

Petra. Wadi Rum. Our tour leader (Osama Twell)
Petra and Dead Sea hotels were far above the quality expected. Great food, first rate rooms and facilities.
Group Leader was entertaining, knowledgable and very energetic in his determination to give us an excellent experience.
