National Parks

During the trip you will visit three national parks: Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore. Kanha is by far the biggest and has the highest tiger population density of the three parks. It is also home to swamp deer and Indian gaur, the worlds largest bison, and is the only place in the world where these species can be seen in the wild. Although not as big as Kanha, Bandhavgarh still has a remarkable success rating for tiger spotting and hopefully during your trip you will be lucky to spot at least one. Ranthambore is the smallest of the parks and is the only one of the three with a lake, so in addition to the animals that you can find in the other two parks, there are also a lot of water lovers, such as crocodiles and numerous water birds.

Six Included Game Drives

Six game drives have been included on this trip to maximise your wildlife viewing opportunities without being too full on and giving you time to relax. If six chances just isn't enough however, then you will also have four more opportunities to go on extra game drives (at additional charge).

Taj Mahal

Possibly one of the greatest shows of love, and known as the most beautiful building in the world, no tour in Northern India is complete without a trip to the Taj Mahal. You will visit this spectacular monument at sunrise, in time to witness how the light changes the colour of the marble. Up close, the mausoleum is covered in intricate patterns of inlaid semi-precious stones, alot of which are in the shape of flowers and glow when a light is pressed up against them.
