Trip Overview:

Follow in the footsteps of Darwin on this family holiday, to see the unique wildlife of the Galapagos and visit Colonial Quito on mainland Ecuador. Mark this momentous voyage of discovery by travelling around the islands aboard our comfortable motor yacht.

The Galápagos are not for the run-of-the-mill traveller, but for the lover of ocean, wilderness and wildlife. The haunting beauty of these barren volcanic islands and the extraordinary tameness of their animal population, create a uniquely memorable experience. This dedicated itinerary makes it possible to see the best the Galápagos has to offer whilst also giving a flavour of mainland Ecuador. Starting with the capital, Quito, you have time to explore the colonial heart of the city and visit the Equator. Then you head far out into the Pacific, sailing through the central and southern islands of the archipelago where Charles Darwin assembled the evidence for his ground-breaking Theory of Evolution. This intriguing journey is simply unmissable for anyone with an interest in natural history.

Designated Family Departures

On our family Galapagos cruise we have two guides for 20 passengers. This means that one of the guides can specialise in child friendly briefings and activities. If they need help learning to snorkel or kayak then the guide is on hand to help without diminishing the experience for you.

On board, meals and evening activities are also tailored with the family in mind with movies, games and educational fun arranged to get the most out of your time in the islands. We also offer 2 triple cabins on board to accommodate families with younger child  subject to availabilities.

Galapagos Cruise

The fleet includes three identical yachts custom-designed for Galapagos cruising: the M/Y Eric, Flamingo I and Letty. These superior first-class sister yachts accommodate no more than 20 guests and feature three decks with cabins which are fully air-conditioned with en suite bathroom (hot and cold water showers). There’s a dining room, well-stocked bar, briefing area and sun deck.

Animal Paradise

On land, see tightly packed marine iguanas, marvel at the size of giant tortoises and watch blue-footed boobies dance whilst pterodactyl-like frigate birds soar overhead. A trip to the islands is one of the most unforgettable experiences you are ever likely to have on this family holiday.

Swim with Turtles

The Galapagos Islands offer a unique wildlife experience and are a nature lover’s paradise. The animals have no fear of humans - you can swim with penguins and turtles as friendly sea lions twist and turn around you, their inquisitive pups frolicking in the surf.
