Trip Overview:

This trip offers an exciting short cruise on a first class vessel in the Galapagos Islands plus a visit to Ecuador's colonial capital Quito. You will follow in the footsteps of Darwin to see the unique wildlife of the Galapagos and visit Colonial Quito on mainland Ecuador. The Galápagos are a perfect destination for the lover of ocean, wilderness and wildlife. The haunting beauty of these barren volcanic islands and the extraordinary tameness of their animal population, create a uniquely memorable experience. This dedicated itinerary makes it possible to see the best the Galápagos has to offer whilst also giving a flavour of mainland Ecuador. Starting with the capital, Quito, you have time to explore the colonial heart of the city and visit the Equator. Then you head far out into the Pacific, sailing through the central and southern islands of the archipelago where Charles Darwin assembled the evidence for his ground-breaking Theory of Evolution. This intriguing journey is simply unmissable for anyone with an interest in natural history.

Galapagos Cruise

In the Galapagos we use the San Jose or similar first class motor yacht, custom designed for cruising these islands. The San Jose carries up to 16 passengers within 8 twin or double cabins, and one small double/single cabin, each with private facilities. She boasts an ample indoor dining room/slaon.

Animal Paradise

On land, see tightly packed marine iguanas, marvel at the size of giant tortoises and watch blue-footed boobies dance whilst pterodactyl-like frigate birds soar overhead. A trip to the islands is one of the most unforgettable experiences you are ever likely to have.

Swim with Turtles

The Galapagos Islands offer a unique wildlife experience and are a nature lover’s paradise. The animals have no fear of humans - you can swim with penguins and turtles as friendly sea lions twist and turn around you, their inquisitive pups frolicking in the surf.
