Sukhothai
Nicknamed the Dawn of Happiness, Sukhothai still recalls Siam's golden age with its superb statues, marvellous monuments and lotus flowers in full bloom. Previously a Siamese capital, you explore and wander among the ancient ruins.
Chiang Mai
Situated at the crossroads of one of South-East Asia's most important trade routes, the northern capital is a legendary centre of ancient culture, adventure, relaxation and shopping. Bike between the temples, take a cooking class, cruise down the river on a bamboo raft or hone haggling skills at the markets.
Tropical Beaches
Thailand is well known for having some of the best beaches in the world. On this trip you will visit Ao Nang, peaceful Ko Yao Noi and the largest island in Thailand, Phuket. Each with different characters, but all have long white stretches of sand, sea and gently swaying palm trees. Under the sea, you will find an equally fascinating, if otherworldy paradise, as you explore the reefs and marine life that surround the islands.
Seasonal Differences
Due to the changes in weather at different times of the year, it is necessary to have two alternative itineraries so that Southern Thailand can be a year-round destination. This trip runs from November to April you will visit the west coast. If you wish to travel between May and October you will visit the east coast, see tour code TTSBC.
