Classic Peru

Then you’ll journey to Lake Titicaca – the fabled birth place of the Incas.
The trip culminates with the epic Inca Trail trek, 4 days trekking through incredible mountain scenery past Inca ruins. You'll camp above the clouds and follow in the footsteps of the Incas as you approach Machu Picchu where you spend time exploring the citadel.

Cusco & Inca Trail Trek
Crossing the high altiplano you descend into the Sacred Valley and explore its profusion of Inca sites - before embarking on the spectacular Inca Trail to the fascinating ruins on the Machu Picchu trek. You’ll finally take the train back to Cusco where you can relax and reflect on your journey of a lifetime!
Not trekking?
On any date you can choose to opt out of the Inca Trail trek and stay in Cusco or the Sacred Valley - you'll meet up with group at Machu Picchu. While they are out on the trail, soak up the culture or Cusco or relax in the stunning surroundings of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Inti Raymi
Now the second largest festival in South America, Inti Raymi is a modern enactment of an ancient Inca ritual, taking place at the winter solstice to honour the Sun God and pray for the return of longer days.
There is a whole week of activities and celebration in the streets of Cusco culminating with a procession and ceremonial display at Sacsayhuaman on the outskirts of the city. The main display takes place on the 24th of July, however, the real fun is found in the streets on the days leading up to this. Tickets can be arranged for the display locally (not included) but all marked dates will experience the festivities in Cusco in the days leading up to the 24th.
