The whole trip was fantastic.

The whole trip was fantastic.  The hosts were really lovely and treated us like an extension of their family, the other people on the trip were really nice and we all got on very well, and the walks, although challenging, were superb with breathtaking mountain scenery and fabulous wildlife.

The only thing I'd change is to have an earlier evening meal.  8pm is a bit late for us to digest a meal before going to bed after a long day of walking.

The walking itinerary was excellent and took us to really fantastic locations which built up as the week progressed.  The pace was however a little fast and this didn't enable us to spend quite as much time admiring the flowers and wildlife as we might have liked.

[Accommodation] It was a lovely farmhouse chalet, in a good location overlooking the Mont Blanc  massif with excellent hosts.

Fantastic trip

Seeing the stunning views, made all the worthwhile for the effort involved in getting up the steep slopes.  Meeting a fantastic group of people.

Greg was brilliant.  Very knowledgeable of the whole area and where we would be walking.  It was very helpful to have a "briefing" before each walk on the altitude and distance which would be achieved.  He also had a great sense of humour and a love of jelly snakes and jelly babies!

Take waterproofs as well as warm weather gear. One day we were walking in 28C temperatures and a couple of days later we were walking in sleet. Definitely take some snacks to keep you going on the steep uphills. Some days were pretty challenging, especially the "optional extras", others were slightly less strenuous. Different scenery every day.

Fantastic trip with Amazing views of Mont Blanc. Excellent guide and hosts, great accomodation and food.

The holiday overall was quite demanding but worth every bit of effort. The views were oustanding and the company from the group was great. The hosts were very welcoming and I never felt incomfortable living in theyre home.

The guide was concerned at all times about the safety of his team and made an effort to tell us about the history of the places we visited.

You need to be physically fit and it is quite demanding at times. If its the summer take some swimming gear so you can have a swim in the lakes if you fancy it. Take plently of snacks for walking as there are no shops nearby

Everything was as I hoped it would be

Ascent of Mont Joly and Col du Tricot and spotting chamois on mountainside

Everything was as I hoped it would be (except the weather).

[Accommodation] It was a perfect chalet style guest house with lovely views of Mont Blanc

Very competent with an"English" sense of humour.

The main highlights were the people on the ground.

The main highlights were the people on the ground.  Jeremy, Marie & Gregoir (our guide) could not have more helpful, hospitable and friendly.

The itinerary was different to that specified but this was due to weather and conditions on the ground.  It did not impact on the quality of the trip in any way.

Excellent, entertaining and great to spend time with.

i did the BEST OF MONT BLANC trip in august and i have just got around to leaving feedback.

i was greeted at the airport and whisked to a stunning farmhouse in a wonderful landscape.
my room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the whole farmhouse.
our hosts jeremy and marie were/are top notch. entertaining helpful gracious 10/10
the walks were smashing. a lovely range of scenery that was different each day.
i wouldnt have graded them as demanding but as a whole i think the rating was correct for a group walking holiday.

all in all a fabulous holiday that has left me wanting more.

Fabulous trekking around Mont Blanc

We were warmly welcomed into our accommodation, a beautifully converted farmhouse, by our hosts for the week who had collected us from the airport. The farmhouse was set amongst the most amazing landscape and was very comfortable and immaculately clean. Our hosts were most gracious and always welcomed us back from the hills with fresh brewed tea and biscuits – heaven!

The walks themselves were breathtaking and each had different elements that made each one unique and special. With a group of people of differing ages/abilities planning walks must be a nightmare and some of the group found the routes challenging, others could have done more, I guess this means they were spot on for a group of walkers!

I cannot say enough about the holiday and our hosts, we will definitely plan to return even if just for the fabulous home cooked food that was provided by our hosts.

All in all an excellent and most enjoyable holiday.
