This trip focuses on the fascinating heritage of the ancient Maya civilisation, using a mixture of public and private transport to link three countries Guatemala, Mexico and Belize. In Guatemala you visit colonial Antigua and isolated Flores. See the soaring jungle-clad pyramids of Tikal, monkeys and colourful toucans abound in the surrounding rainforest. In Belize go river tubing or explore caves before relaxing on the beaches of Caye Caulker. Finally in Mexico enjoy another tranquil beach haven and explore the ruins of Tulum perched on a cliff above palm fringed beaches. In Playa del Carmen watersports abound as well as a vibrant night life. Toast the end of your Mayan adventure with a chilled margarita.

Colonial Antigua with its vibrant colours, cobbled streets and imposing volcano backdrop makes a great start to this trip.
Exotic Culture
Explore the jungle ruins of magnificent Tikal with its spectacular pyramid, see monkeys and colourful birds in the tropical trees. Go tubing or exploring caves in laid back San Ignacio in Belize.
Sun & Sand
