A wonderful group holiday with amazing views of the annapurna ranges. It was just a delight walking through this huge himalayan garden.

I enjoyed every day of it.

Standing at Poon Hill for sunrise after only 5 days away made me feel like I was really far away early on in the trip. I enjoyed every day of it. The range and diversity of the scenery was brilliant - pine forests, magnolia forests, rhododendron forests, waterfalls and then lots of snow.

I did think that the trek was harder than we were briefed on. I have done other treks - and the difference with this one is the amount of hills. There were lots of steps. The 2 other people in my group really struggled. So much so that the male paid $7000 for a helicopter to take him down from basecamp.
I have done the trek to everest and found this much more intense. I just think the notes should mention the amount of hills and steps.

In pokhara we stayed in lovely hotel. The rest were very basic but generally clean - we were in the mountains though and they were as expected.

Arjun was a great guide. He became our friend - although we always felt he was very in control of timings and organisation. He kept the group entertained and motivated those who some days were struggling with the distances and hills

the scenes were beautiful and breathtaking

Arjun, subin and sajan our guides and porters from himalayan encounters were amazing individuals who always put us at the heart of their decisions. they were extremely helpful, motivating and supportive and tried their utmost to make our trip as exciting, fulfilling and fun as possible. it would be excellent to see them get recognition for the work that they have done and continue to do on behalf of the adventure company.

the trip itself was a lot harder then i had expected but the emotions and sense of achievement i experienced when reaching Annapurna basecamp made the whole effort worthwhile. the scenes were beautiful and breathtaking and will be imprinted in my mind forever.

Arjun Gurung (Group leader) and Subin Rai (assistant) were an excellent team who filled us with confidence with their knowledge of the annapurna range, health & safety, and nepali culture. They paid close attention to our needs and were helpful and considerate. I hope that they both continue to share these qualities with many more groups to come.

Seeing the Himalayas during various times of the day

- The guide, assistant and porters were all great, so helpful and felt we could trust them which made the trip more easier and enjoyable
- Seeing the Himalayas during various times of the day - sunrise, daytime, evening etc

[Least enjoyed] Walking downhill!!! I had an issue with balance (which was my own responsbility - not that of Adventure Company or the guides/porters).

The staff at the various accomodation, including choice of food etc was brilliant. Thank you

Our Group Leader (Arjun) was fantastic! When we first met at the airport and hotel we thought we would be shy and quiet, but within a day or two he started to open up more and we built a fantastic rapport with him. He had the upmost respect for myself and my friend and he really went out of his way to help/support us, keep us entertained/motivated during the trek and when we came back down. The trip would not have been such a success without him and the other helpers, thanks very much!

The scenery is stunning.

The scenery is stunning. Although very cold when we went, the sunrise at Basecamp was worth the climb.

The guide was rather grasping / demanding as regards to tips as there were only two of us on the trek (as opposed to 16). He made it clear from our first meeting that he wanted tips to reflect a group of 16!
I did not have a problem with the food but my partner found it was dull & every eating establishment offered identical menus.

The adventure Company were very accommodating when I requested that we had a stop-over in Delhi prior to meeting up in Kathmandu to commence our trek.

Although basic, the rooms were clean.

Did not appreciate our guide demanding tips as if we were a group (for himself, the porter or the driver). He was often well out of sight & when the conditions were very slippery he ignored my boyfriend. On the other hand, the porter was superb.
