Check what’s included!
Make sure you check what’s included when choosing your Annapurna Sanctuary trip. In addition to the iconic teahouse trek, which includes a stunning vantage point at Poon Hill and parts of the Annapurna Circuit, we also include a charter vehicle and walking tour with a local guide in Kathmandu. You will visit Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Bodhnath and Pashupatinath. This means that you’ll experience 4 of the 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Nepal. Plus, you’ll stay in a beautiful rural corner of Nepal – Bandipur. Here, you’ll stay in a restored traditional village house. There are also plenty of delicious meals on our trip - 14 breakfasts and 2 dinners.
We know that a network of local trek staff can be a great support on any trek. You’ll have an experienced trip leader, we also employ an assistant guide for every three passengers and one porters for every two passengers to ensure that you have a hearty team full of friendly and knowledgeable faces to assist you along the way. We are serious about porter welfare, please see our Porter Protection Policy for more details: http://www.adventurecompany.co.uk/responsible-travel/porters-policy
Annapurna Base Camp & Pokhara
Staying in teahouses en route, you continue trekking through small settlements and farmland to reach the landscapes of rock and ice beyond. You’ll spend a night at Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), surrounded by some of the most awe-inspiring mountain scenery on earth, before descending to the lakeside town of Pokhara.
Kathmandu to Poon Hill
The bustling city of Kathmandu is the gateway to the Himalaya for all trekking in Nepal. You’ll have a day here to explore and visit some of the celebrated temples before driving west. After a night in the isolated village of Bandipur you’ll set off on your trekking adventure, gradually ascending to reach Ghorepani and the chance to take in the classic Himalaya sunrise view from Poon Hill. This trip is popular for solo travellers and groups alike.
Our Annapurna Sanctuary trip is just one of our Nepal tours. To find out more visit our Nepal holidays page.
