Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

The enigmatic Sphinx and great pyramids stand on the edge of the desert overlooking the city. The pyramids are the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that remain intact – a great start to a magical trip! At the Egyptian Museum, your local guide will focus on the treasures of the Tutankhamun collection – probably the world’s greatest archaeological find.

Valley of the Kings & Karnak Temple

Explore the ancient tombs of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings where 63 Pharaohs were buried as part of their journey to the after-life. Horse-drawn carriages drive you to the grandest of Egypt’s historic temples – Karnak, where an avenue of ram-headed sphinxes line the entrance. The highlights include the great hypostyle hall and the beautifully carved obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut on our family holiday.

The Red Sea

Enjoy a full day to relax on the Egyptian coastline bordering the Red Sea. Here the kids can swim and enjoy beach activities while the adults get a chance to relax or join in. Take a boat trip to go snorkelling and explore the underwater world of brightly coloured fish and corals.
