Reviews
Don't take our word for it - read through our customer reviews. All of these have been published without any editing.Andorra is a beautiful country and the itinerary certainly allows you to explore most of it. The mountain bike ride into Spain down to Tor and on to Alins was a definite highlight.

The tour leaders on my trip to Andorra (Andy, Stuart and Sarah) were incredible hosts from start to finish. Given that they run this same trip repeatedly throughout the summer it would have been easy to assume it would be 'just a job' to them, but they always showed boundless enthusiasm for their work and went out of their way to make sure that those of us enjoying the experience for the first time had the best time possible. Faultless organisation. Other than that, the location and diverse range of activities were amazing, and I was lucky to be sharing the trip with a wonderful group of people.
A minor quibble, but the bikes we used were pretty low quality and at times I felt I was pushing mine beyond its limits on some of the more technical downhill cycling sections. It was explained that because of the beating they take each week cheap bikes are more cost-effective, understandable, but while I'm sure the majority of people can't tell the difference it did matter quite a bit to some of the more advanced riders.
The hotel room was simple, clean and functional. Not remarkable, but comfortable and entirely suitable for this kind of holiday.

The activities in the Pyrenees, and our guides - Sarah, Stuart and Andy.
The accomodation at the Roc de Saint Miguel was adequate. Some attention to cleanliness in the bedrooms and adjustments to the main courses at dinner time would have raised our rating to good.
While individual activities were rated as "demanding", and this assessment was accurate, I do not think we were quite prepared for the cumulative effects of six full-on days. I would rate this as "strenuous". The guides were excellent at allowing people to ride in vehicles or skip an activity, but these trips always involve some peer pressure. It was not until the following week that we realized just how tired we were by the end of the programme - that said, I am not sure what you can do about it. And I would not have missed any of the activities.
[Accommodation] See previous comments. A little attention to detail in one or two areas would have made a big difference.
Excellent in every way. One of the highlights of our trip.

The guides banter, the white water rafting and downhill biking, the fact there was other solo travellers in group
[Least enjoyed] the food at the hostel at dinner time was not great at all.
I would recommend it to anyone. Maybe adding explanation as to the extra cost of flights included in the trip booking cost going up 200pounds if you book late. I thought you would have bought them at a standard fee anyway, but I still got charged extra. maybe more incentive to book late, like advertise the 15% off for late bookings. otherwise everything was great.
[Accommodation] The food at dinner time was not very nice at all. Some of the drinks in the bar were expensive considering local bar prices. but overall room was great, space to socialise was great and the rooms were better than expected.
Really enjoyed their banter and company on the trip, they were very enthusiastic about all the activities and in helping us learn new activities and giving honest advice on other trips to take on our day off. They were well informed and made the week fun for everyone

Guides were very good. There was a bit too much walking and not enough extreme acticities such as downhill biking, rafting etc. However, I guess that comes with the trip profile
Bikes were very poor quality and there were not enough uphill, mountain cycling just constant downhill
Very friendly, helpful and very social.

The people on my trip and my tour guide were the highlights!
I enjoyed it all!
[Accommodation] it was great though it was a shame the social area wasnt open past midnight. i think this was because there was no way of securing the bar but it meant there was a restricted area to socialise in after midnight.
Group leader was great. A ringbinder with details of local activities for day off would be helpful.

Everything was AWESOME!
Costing in the brochure were a little bit out (for free days, lunch etc). That, or i am just too tight with my money :)
Stuart and Andy were great leaders! Had a cracking time with them.

white water rafting - could have been a bit more thrilling so perhaps add another route with more rapids!
on my free day i wanted to do the via ferrata but it was cancelled as i was the only one....:(
at the start it was a bit confusing as to whether we would be staying in different hotels along the way or in one hotel more details on the white water rafting and logistics would have been appreciated more concrete information on activities to do on the free day and their organisation would have been good
The single room was a bit small

Via Ferrata, Mountain Biking, Hiking ... there were so many highlights. An amazing trip
[Least enjoyed] Possibly the coach trip from Toulouse to Andorra, but that is being really really picky
Amazing guys, couldn't wish for any better :)

All aspects of the trip were really good and the quality of the guide was fantastic. Each day brought a new highlight
slightly disappointed with the night life
[Trip itinerary] very good - thought out and paced to the group - allowed a degree of flexibility to ensure we could all undertake our free day activity at a good time
really friendly and relaxed hotel. A bit quiet in the evening but could not fault the friendliness of the owners and staff.
He [Andy] made the trip. he had vast amount of knowledge and was considerate to the various fitness level of all the members of the group ensuring nobody felt uncomfortable. he was so passionate about the work he does and the area, we are seriously considering going back in the winter

The whole trip was a winner for me. I was very nervous about going but as soon as i spotted other guys with the red Adventure Company tags i was at ease...everyone was so friendly and we all got on really well instantly!
The guides were great and really laid back and down to earth..wouldnt have wanted them any other way!
The hotel was basic..but the food was lovely and the bar was very reasonably priced. The staff were excellent and were always happy to go out of their way to help out...!!!
Im not much of a walker..but i thoroughly enjoyed both of the walks during the week..the sights were fantastic! The downhill mountain biking was brilliant too..something i would never have done without going on this trip...! I loved the white water rafting too..it was loads of fun a bit tough on the arms though.
I tried the Via Ferrata too...and i so want to do it again..it has made me want to take up climbing as a hobby...the local guide was brilliant and made us all feel really safe...even if we were hanging on for dear life by our fingernails...!
All in all a brilliant trip with excellent guides and a great bunch of travellers!! I recommend this trip to anyone who is looking to get away from it all but doesnt want to sit and do nothing...there was always something to do on this trip..!
I didnt want to go home...i feel like i have made friends for life...!
Just brilliant...I cant wait to go on holiday with The Adventure Company again!!!
The tour leaders Andy and Stuart were just brilliant..no one could have done a better job. They knew exactly what they were talking about...well they might not have done but you wouldnt have known!
They were very amusing and just all round great guys. Always had something to say or a joke to tell.
When things went wrong because of weather they were very quick to suggest alternative arrangements and to make sure everything went ahead and nothing was ruined.
They took care of the group and made sure everyone was happy and knew what was going on at all times.
The week wouldnt have been the same without them!
