Kayseri
Meet at the joining point in Kayseri airport and transfer to Goreme. Cappadocia is undeniably a fantasy of nature, with its unique geological formations and famous fairy chimneys. The curious fairy chimneys for which Cappadocia is so famous are the result of over 30 million years of erosion following the eruptions of three volcanoes. (approximately 3 hours).
Ciner Hotel (AA) - 4 nights

Walking & Sightseeing
Today you will start our walking in the Meskendir Valley. Follow the path which is covered with old Cave houses and complexes from the old Christian civilization. From the Meskendir Valley you cross over to the Red Valley, the most beautiful valley in Cappadocia with its rock formations and colours. In the Red Valley you visit the Hidden Cross Church and the Church of the Three Crosses. This church was carved out of the cliff face in the 7th Century. The decorative reliefs and frescoes were added in the 10th and 11th Century. You continue your walking to Cavusin, one of the first Christian villages built in Cappadocia Area. After having Lunch in Cavusin we will walk along the amazing Pasabaglari Area. (BLD)

Mountain Biking
Today you will discover some of the nicest valleys of Cappadocia on bikes. Your ride will start from Goreme and descend through the Kiliclar valley to Cavusin where you will stop for lunch and to visit some Christian churches. In the afternoon, you will be pedalling in the backyards of Akvadi, where you will see the unique white fairy chimneys. Afterwards you will descend from Uchisar back to Goreme. The total ride will be 15km; 10km of which will be off road. This evening to relax, it is possible to have an optional Turkish bath. Also known as a hamam, this is an age-old Turkish tradition and there is at least one hamam per neighbourhood in most Turkish towns. (BLD)
Horse Riding
This morning, you will experience the stunning scenery of the local area on horseback. You will ride for approximately four hours, alongside the longest river in Turkey; Kizilirmak to Saruhan Seljuk Caravanserai. You will continue on the ancient Silk Road towards Devrent Valley with its panoramic formations. This afternoon has been left free for you to relax after this active morning. This evening, you have the option of watching a local folklore show. (BLD)

Derinkuyu Underground City
This morning, you will have the opportunity to take an optional hot air balloon flight where you can enjoy the sunrise over the fairy chimneys, an unforgettable experience! You will then drive (approx. 2 hours) to the Taurus Mountains. En route, you will stop at Derinkuyu underground city. The region is full of fascinating underground cities, some as old as 4000 years and were home to 30,000 people. Visiting Derinkuyu can feel like entering a giant Swiss cheese, with holes everywhere. Then, you continue to Cukurbag village where you will enjoy lunch with a local family and discover their lifestyle. In the afternoon, you will start walking along the Kaziklar valley where you will enjoy fantastic views over the southern part of Aladaglar. After walking for 3 hours you will reach your first base camp in Emli Valley (1750m). Tonight will be your first night of camping. Dome tents are provided and will fit 2 people. You will also be given a thick mattress each to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Dinner will be served in a mess tent. There is only a shower at one campsite and toilet facilities are basic but it is worth it to be staying in such a remote, beautiful area.
