Kilimanjaro
“One of the most challenging and exhilarating experiences of my life, I had the company of a great group of people from all parts of the world. When the going got tough at 4am, climbing to Gilmans point, I realised how many friends I had made in the last few days.” Colin Jones

Tropical South
"India - it is said you either love it or hate it. If you take the Tropical South option then you will certainly fall for the country! The temples give a fascinating insight into Indian culture. The calm and peace of the Kerala backwaters is in complete contrast to the colour, smells and noise of the cities that test all the senses to the limit. And the locals, so very friendly; add all this together with the trips on the local transport plus an excellent tour leader and you will find yourself on a fabulous trip to South India." S Yeoward

Desert Adventure
"I would like to say that the trip I went on (my first), (Desert Adventure) was truly awesome. It was something that I had been meaning to do for some years and it far exceeded my expectations. The whole trip from start to finish was extremely well organised and I really don't have a negative word to say about it. Our leader Khaled Ingriuoi was brilliant - and so hardworking. He did everything he could to make our trip such a memorable one. Many thanks to the Adventure Company for giving me the opportunity to fulful my dream." Angela Ouadour

Adventure Nepal
"I completed the trip in October 2007 and feel I saw all the highlights of Nepal - the people, the history, the mountains, the rivers and the jungle. All the Nepalese we encountered went out of the way to make our stay perfect. The sheer variety of activities, the brilliant organisation and the friendliness of the guides, sherpas and porters made this a holiday to remember forever. By pointing out local customs, crops and wildlife throughout the trip our guide Hari really gave us a taste of Nepali life. Highlights included the Everest Mountain flight, bathing the elephants, waking up to beautiful views on the trek with 'bed tea', rum punch and chocolate and banana cake by the river, clear starry skies, playing cards with the porters, not to forget the beach cricket with paddles as bats! The 7 day trek was a perfect distance for me - not too arduous (though it has its moments!) but enough to get into the remoter villages. I would recommend this holiday to anyone who likes to be active." Gillian Goode

Peaks of the Atlas
"The group was really friendly, everything went like clockwork, stunning weather always helps and Neil was a hugely enthusiastic tour guide, ensuring the whole group had a great time. I didn't expect to come back having learnt so much about Moroccan culture, geography, cuisine, history and religion but Neil's little talks were great - he is very passionate about Morocco and that was very infectious! All in all, I had a fantastic time." Ms C Hewitt

Brazilian Adventure
"This was the first trip of this kind I had done. The Adventure Company were extremely professional and friendly when I was deciding whether to book this trip. I am so glad I did and now I can't wait to book another one. Brazil is an amazing place with some of the most welcoming and happy people in the world. Foz de Iguaçu is absolutely breathtaking. The boat ride is so much fun. I regret not doing the helicopter ride! Don't miss out like I did, you need this to see the sheer scale of the falls. The Amazon - no words can explain - it truly is another world. It was nice to feel cut off from everything for a few days. I could have stayed longer. Salvador for me was the true colour of Brazil. It is a lively place full of music and good food. I really would love to stay a few months in Salvador to really absorb the Brazilian way of life. I could go on and on about this trip, but in a nutshell it's full of so much variety and amazing mini trips I really recommend it to anyone who wants to make the most of a few weeks discovering one of the biggest countries in the world! Book it! You won't regret it." Ms L Zucchetti

Delta & Dunes
"Thanks for arranging such a fantastic trip! Before this holiday, I'd had a bit of a mental block about travelling alone but this experience has completely cured me. My group couldn't have been nicer. I'm already thinking about where to go next! It's hard to single out any particular part of the trip overall. The Okavango Delta was a haven of peace and tranquility, the perfect way to start the trip and get you really into holiday mood. But perhaps the wildlife at Etosha was the highlight. I saw a leopard on my first game drive! An amazing piece of beginner's luck, which set the tone for the rest of our stay in Etosha." Sophie Rawlings

"I just returned from the activity week in Turkey and I just wanted to say what a fantastic experience it was. The whole trip was really well organised and the guide (Evren) was brilliant, even though he wore blue Speedos! I was quite nervous as I've never been on anything like that before but the group were such a great bunch of people and they really made it a memorable experience." Gillian Arbuckle

Pyramids to Petra
"Wow, what can I say, I could wax lyrical but as I am sadly back at work now suffice it to say I had the most wonderful awe-inspiring trip - thank you. This was my first time as a solo female traveller and at first was a tad anxious about this...sharing a room with a complete stranger, visiting a large city such as Cairo filled me a little bit with trepidation. However the group I was with were so friendly and we all got on famously so I never felt alone although had I wanted to be this too would have been respected. What I like most, and what will make me use The Adventure Company again was the way it made me feel like an intrepid explorer as there was a distinct lack of tourist commercialism - the off road treks, the old beat up jeeps and small minibuses where luggage was piled up on the roof all added to the ambience of adventure! Please send me next years brochure hot off the press so I can decide where to go to next." Sue Maltby
