Ben Fogle to take to the RGS stage to encourage Brits to discover their inner adventurer

This month intrepid TV presenter Ben Fogle will be joining The Adventure Company at London’s Royal Geographic Society to discuss the driving factors that make a good explorer, from curiosity to stamina.

During his 50 minute talk the travel specialist’s Ambassador for Adventure will relieve his recent Year of Adventure, which saw Fogle travel all over the world testing his own limits of endurance, strength and agility and demonstrate what anyone can achieve if they really put their minds to it.

From making the perilous 1.5 mile swim from Alcatraz Island to San Francisco Bay to diving under an Icelandic glacier in freezing waters to see where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates join, Fogle’s pursuit of action and adventure has taken in some of Earth’s most breathtaking place.

The man who famously achieved an N in A-level Geography hopes to help inspire holidaymakers to unleash their inner adventurer at the Royal Geographic Society on 31 May. The talk starts at 7pm and will be followed by a Q&A session. Doors open at 6.15pm and tickets cost £10pp.
