Day
1

Depart London

Depart London for your overnight flight to Buenos Aires. (D)

Day
2-3

Buenos Aires

Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon you will explore Buenos Aires on foot taking in some of the cities main sites. Later a group dinner gives you a chance to get to know everyone and to try some local food, perhaps visit a tango bar to witness this most passionate and expressive of Latin dances. The following day is free for optional activities in the city, maybe see some local football or a watch a polo match both of which are sports passionately followed Argentinians. Hotel - 2 nights (B)

Day
4-5

Iguazu Falls

Transfer to the airport and fly to Puerto Iguazu. You have two days in which to explore the Brazillian and the Argentinian sides of the Falls. There are many trails to walk along, discovering orchids and brightly coloured tropical birds and butterflys as you go. For more excitement you can take a boat ride to the bottom of falls and really experience their power close up while you are engulfed in their might spray. You can also go exploring deeper into the surrounding rain forest. The views are magnicent from all angles that you will discover and these falls definitely rank highly among the very best in the world.  Hotel - 2 nights (B, Day 5 D)

Day
6-7

Paraty

Fly (90 mins) to Sao Paulo and then by minius (5-7 hours) to reach the Brazilian coastal town of Paraty. Strongly influenced by the Portuguese colonists this town offers a laid back atmosphere, with rustic colonial charm. The next day you can explore the cobbled streets and local cafes before you take a boat trip to see some of the beautiful islands in the Bay.  Hotel - 2 night (B)

Day
8

Rio de Janeiro

The excitment builds again today as you travel on to the lively Brazillian Samba capital of Rio de Janeiro. This city was settled first by the French, who were followed the Portuguese. Often described as "flamboyant" this city also has strong contrasts between very rich and very poor. Ride the cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf mountain to get a great view of the city in it's entirity including the slums or flavelas. In contrast the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema are great places to watch Rio's beautiful people at play. At night the city really comes to life, and maybe you will choose to join in with the energetic vibe and Samba until dawn as a fitting celebration to make the end of your tour. Hotel - 1 night

Day
9/10

Fly Home

Your tour ends this morning in Rio de Janeiro. Those travelling on our group flights will be transferred back to the airport for their flight home.
