I rate this trip
Varied, non-trekking trip showing you the cultural highlights of Nepal

Kathmandu, including the optional flight to see Mount Everest, village life off the beaten track and elephant safari where we saw 5 rhinos from the safety of being on top of an elephant

Our group leader was very caring, well organised and wanted everyone to get the most out of the trip so people could see the best that his country could offer. He was very passionate about Nepal and to ensure we could maximise what we did on the trip.

Although not a cheap holiday (Nepal is cheap when you get there, especially for food), you could not have seen nearly as much if you travelled alone. There are often planned powercuts so make sure you take every advantage to charge up your batteries as you may not find it easy to do so the following day. It gets cold at night and in the mornings and most hotels do not have heating, but you are supplied with blankets. Bring enough warm clothes for the few early starts we have on the trip.

I rate this trip
certainly not a WOW trip - poor value for money would not recommend

Going home!

He was OK - it was content of the trip that was poor

Sorry but we did not enjoy this trip it felt like a chore rather than a holiday - have travelled with Intrepid before and had a great time so this was really a disappointment- apart from 2 places accommodation very poor, transport at times felt dangerous and there was just no “wow” factor - my advice - go it alone for a fraction of the cost - Its easy to travel in Nepal.
