[Least enjoyed] Sleeper train journeys, heat and humidity
[Comments on itinerary] Not that accurate. There was a lot of extra cost for additional trips not included in the itinerary.
[Accommodation] Some hotels very basic. Some with services that didn't work for certain times of the day e.g no hot water and in one hotel no water.

The people, the country and it's history
I learned a great deal more about the people, the country and it's history than expected.It was sometimes disturbing and the itinerary was extreemly full but I would not have wanted to miss anything.
The third rail journey was tiresome and the facilities were poor though I realise that The Adventure Company / Intrepid Travel are not responsible for quality. Vietnam need to address rail travel quality if they wish to promote tourism. I accept that travel by other means may be also problematic.
He worked very hard to keep the group informed and briefed. His knowlege and enthusiasm was very good. He sometimes had difficulty with communicating on the bus trips due to a lack of a PA system. He ended up with a sore throat.
