We really did see Thailand's highlights

many forms of travel, we really did see Thailand's highlights, wonderful intrepid guide.

[Least enjoyed] It was not really a holiday, early starts , one night at most hotels always on the go. Some parts were a little rushed. However we had some idea what we had booked so did not take it too badly. The worst day was after a long hot sweaty day in Bangkok we then went straight onto the sleeper train with no offer of anywhere to freshen up but the itinery said the next morning we then went straight to our hotel - but the hotel was not ready for check in until 2pm ! this caused some anoyance and stress for our leader.

felt we needed a more time at Hellfire Pass and museum. Next time we will choose a trip where you have more time at each place

excellent !

The bicycle ride in Chiang Mai

the bicycle ride in Chiang Mai which we did in addition to the cookery course and it was lovely to see more of this beautiful place and the immediate surrounding countryside. The river cruise also provided a beautiful end to a great trip

Visiting the H'mong village was a bit of a non-event, whilst the lodge we stayed in in this area was lovely and with the local dancing gave an insight to the people and the barbeque there was one of the best meals, so did we need to go to the village at all?

Really loved Chiang Mai so another day there would have been lovely or an extra day in Bangkok to take in one of the islands, also would have loved to have seen the floating markets which we didnt have time for.

Great sense of humour, really bonded a very varied group together and tried to give us a taste of her Thailand.

Thailand

interacting with the elephants at the Elephant Conservation Centre
Thai Cooking Class

[Least enjoyed] not enough "down" time - or time to relax at the great accommodation facilities

The hotel we stayed in in Chiang Mai - Hotel M was a little out there and it did not have a kettle in the room.
