Expect a warm welcome on Egypt holidays, columnist says

Those who go on Egypt holidays to see sights such as Giza and the pyramids can expect to enjoy a warm welcome from local people.

This is according to London Evening Standard correspondent Jonathan Gregson, who revealed his lifelong love affair with the north African nation in a recent column.

He said he went on his first Egypt holiday at the age of five and has regularly returned to see wonders such as the Valley of the Kings and the River Nile.

Although he enjoys viewing the country's spectacular monuments, Mr Gregson said another aspect of his trips always sticks in his mind.

"What draws me back is not just the unchanging splendours of its ancient civilisations, but the civilised warmth of ordinary Egyptians today," he remarked.

Those keen to sample the famous Egyptian hospitality for themselves should arrange an Egypt holiday with The Adventure Company.

People who go on the Felucca Adventure are able to explore Cairo before enjoying a wonderful cruise down the Nile.
