I have wanted to see the Himalayas for about 40 years...We were really well looked after for the whole trip. Our guides even managed to help me celebrate my birthday with a cake in the village of Chhomrung.

Annapurna Sanctuary

I absolutely loved this trip. I was with a small group which initially was a bit of a concern but turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It is not a difficult trek overall as I think an average fitness level could do it but there is quite a bit of up and down. The mountain views during pretty much all the ascent are great.

Our group leader was Krish. He was incredible. Excellent English, great sense of humour and always put our wishes and safety first. Assistant guides Chandra and Shiva were great too, very attentive to our needs and always on duty to help us out! Porters Ranjan, sankar nd Kieran were excellent and never complained once, always had a smile on their face and joined in with our card games in the evening. Overall a great time and I really believe this is what made the trip for me.

Don't pack what you don't need-remember the porters have to carry it! Always keep a set of clothes just for the evening so you always have something clean to put on at the end of a long dirty days trek!
