Zac Efron plans to visit Machu Picchu
There is no denying that Machu Picchu is one of the most magical places on the planet and it is definitely worthy of being one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The Inca citadel is one of the main reasons that people book Peru holidays each year, with thousands of adventure travellers flocking to the area every day.
A number of celebrities have visited the region in the past year or so, including U2 frontman Bono, Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and Hollywood superstar Jim Carrey.
Another household name has also revealed that he plans to trek around the historic Peruvian landmark very soon.
Heartthrob Zac Efron - who is most famous for his role in High School Musical - told US TV programme The Rachel Ray Show that he wants to explore Cusco when he has some free time.
"I'll probably go to Machu Picchu or something like that. I like to go backpacking and stuff," he remarked.
