Amman to host prestigious fashion festival
Amman is not the first place that immediately springs to mind when discussing the trendiest cities in the world.
The likes of Milan, Paris, New York and even Dubai are more renowned for their catwalks and luxury designer boutiques, but it seems that Amman is starting to build its own reputation as a stylish metropolis.
People who have taken Jordan holidays in the past will be well aware that the city is full of culture and this will certainly be the case next month when a major festival takes place.
For the first time ever, Amman will be one of the host destinations for the global Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and some of the world's most recognised clothing designers will be on hand to showcase their garments.
Held across the city between April 24th and 28th, the event will feature 13 fashion shows put on by local and international design specialists, with visitors able to cast their eye over the latest lines of jewellery and clothing for both the summer and winter seasons.
