Holiday to Egypt 'could include outstanding temple'
The temples of Abu Simbel in Nubia are outstandingly beautiful, according to a correspondent who took a holiday to Egypt.
Daily Telegraph reader Ann Smith recounted her trip along the Nile, highlighting her experiences of Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and loaning a sailing boat.
"Our first view was at sunrise and everyone stood in silence, taking in the majestic sight," she said.
Ms Smith advised travellers to hire a camel in Luxor rather than Cairo, as in her experience, they are cheaper and the rides last longer in the former destination.
Those looking to enjoy similar experiences with a whole lot more besides could book on one of Adventure Company's trips along Egypt's most famous river.
For example, the Nile Riverboat Trip takes in visits to the Valley of the Kings, Aswan and the Luxor Temple.
Meanwhile, options for excursions for example, to the Red Sea coastal town of Hurghada mean it is possible to personalise a trip to suit individual tastes and interests.
