Holiday to Nepal's Mount Everest 'will fulfil lifelong dream'

An adventurer has said climbing Mount Everest on a holiday to Nepal will fulfil a lifelong dream.

Pete Sunnucks, who works in aerospace, told the Birmingham Mail the May jaunt will see him team up with his pal from the Royal Marines Matt Snooks.

In preparation, they are set to scale Mount Aconcagua in Argentina in the coming months, according to the news provider.

The pair are hoping to raise cash for the John Thornton Young Achievers Fund – a charity set up in the name of a fallen serviceman and friend.
