Trekking holidays to Nepal 'are a dream for active travellers'

Trekking holidays to Nepal may seem like hard work for some, but they are a dream come true for many active travellers.

Writing for travel news and blog site Gadling, correspondent Kraig Becker explained that hiking through the foothills of the Himalayas and tackling Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, is a truly unique experience.

He pointed out that reaching the 5,545 metre high camp during trekking holidays to Nepal is "one of those journeys that is high on the 'life list' for a lot of travellers".

People are attracted to spend their holidays in Nepal to experience the "beautiful and dramatic" scenery and enjoy the traditional mountain culture, the writer explained.

"It is a hiker's dream come true in a lot of ways," Mr Becker added.

Travellers who are keen to achieve their own goals of tackling the mountain on a teahouse trekking holiday should check out the details of The Adventure Company's Everest Base Camp trip.
