Denise Van Outen has 'always wanted to trek the Inca Trail'
Travellers could be encouraged to trek the Inca Trail and enjoy Machu Picchu tours on the recommendation of a host of British celebrities.
TV and West End star Denise Van Outen and her close friend Fearne Cotton from BBC Radio 1 have confirmed they will be trekking the Inca Trail together in September 2010 with a number of their showbiz pals.
Among the household names to join them on the trip, which will culminate in a Machu Picchu tour, are Holly Willoughby from ITV's This Morning, former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and model Abbey Clancy.
Speaking to The Mirror, Van Outen expressed her excitement at the chance to trek the Inca Trail, stating it is something she has "always wanted to do".
"Fearne and I had the idea a while ago and we're excited that the other girls have signed up," she added.
