Sarah Jessica Parker and co 'to boost popularity of Morocco holidays'

Marrakech is set to become an even more popular stopping point for travellers on Morocco holidays as a result of the new Sex And The City movie.

The film is partially set in the North African city, with the cast spending their time soaking up its culture - something which travel expert Tim Dawes thinks will inspire plenty of people to explore Marrakech on their own Morocco holidays.

"Vast swathes of us will want to follow in their daintily clad footsteps," the journalist wrote in a column for The Daily Mail.

While Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte typically enjoy a pampered lifestyle, Mr Dawes said there are plenty of adventures to be found in Marrakech for those who prefer to be a little more active.

For instance, he recommended a trip to the Souks, which he said "reveal the craft and flavour at the heart of the city".
