Dalmatian Coast 'is wonderful'

Travellers have been urged to take the time to enjoy their family activity holidays in Croatia.

Ron Smith, a columnist for The Forres Gazette, visited the Eastern European country and found that the wealth of attractions to see and activities to take part in on the Dalmatian Coast was far too high for his packed itinerary.

He spent his trip to Croatia touring the numerous attractive towns and villages of the coastal region and discovered that the vast majority of the places he visited were peaceful and relaxing.

As well as this tranquillity, areas such as Zaton Bay are also ideally suited to family activity holidays, with kayaking proving particularly popular.

Mr Smith said the Dalmatian Coast as a whole is "wonderful" and that the region has plenty to offer people on family activity holidays.

"English is widely understood, the food and drink is superb ... and a relaxing atmosphere pervades the whole area," the travel writer commented.
