Father and son 'to enjoy family activity holiday in Andorra'

The sights and sounds travellers can expect to find in the Pyrenees on a family activity holiday to Andorra are set to be experienced by a father and son.

Dad Phil Hibbert is taking 18-year-old Paul to the mountain range to tackle a gruelling 450-mile bike ride, reports the Shetland News.

Phil, from Vidlin, has become a keen cyclist since developing a sight condition known as uveitis.

The ailment means he cannot legally drive, meaning his bike has become his primary method of transport.

Speaking about how the condition has not slowed down his lust for life, Phil said: "Nowadays there is a tremendous amount that can be done to make the most out of the reduced vision some people experience from a number of conditions."
