Morocco holidays inspire Essex gardeners

A couple from Essex have revealed that they love Morocco holidays so much, they decided to create their own piece of the North African country in their garden.

Frances and Andrew Franklin created their own Bedouin paradise at their Burnham-on-Crouch home having picked up a variety of tips and ideas from the numerous Morocco holidays that they have enjoyed.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, the green-fingered Mrs Franklin explained: "We have a holiday home in Morocco and visiting the country so many times over the years has inspired much of the look and atmosphere of the garden."

The Morocco-influenced outdoor space features a raised pool, a Bedouin tent and a vine-covered pergola which makes it more reminiscent of a dwelling in Marrakech than a house in south-east England.
