Kenya is back on the Map

Kenya’s recovery from its troubles last year has been overshadowed by other global news stories. However, to keep you informed, Kenyan leaders have agreed to form a new cabinet as part of a power-sharing deal - which has been received positively and peacefully by Kenyans. Although the road to a solution may be bumpy, both sides are committed to a lasting peace.

Operations Manager, Graham Bishop was delighted to receive a recent invitation to visit the community of Chontayacu, Ecuador. There he had the pleasure of attending the inauguration of a new village school that the Adventure Company donated US$3400 of the US$12000 it cost to build it.

Over the last year we have been working very closely with our local agent in India to provide financial support to schools we visit in our itineraries. During 2007, we donated £1465 with the aim of spending the money in the best possible way by benefiting those children who need it most.
