Adventure Holidays in The Middle East

In light of political demonstrations across the Middle East region, please be assured that as a responsible tour operator we are led by the Foreign Office’s advice, and we never sell or send people to destinations where it is not recommended to travel.

Currently all our trips and Middle East holidays are running as normal, and a point for consideration is that as there are a reduced number of travellers in the region at the moment, traditional honey pot destinations such as Petra and The Pyramids in Egypt are a lot quieter.

Regardless of whether ancient cultural discovery or modern pursuits such as scuba diving are the purpose of your Middle East holidays, you are sure to have a wonderful time in this dramatic part of the world. This area of the globe has long fascinated travellers due to its rich history and stunning natural sights - and holidays in the Middle East are the best way to take in its sights and sounds.

Many people travel to the Middle East in order to see some of the planet's most iconic buildings in Egypt's pyramids. Believed to have taken between 20,000 to 30,000 workers more than 80 years to complete, these striking structures need to be seen up close to fully appreciate their beauty and wonder. However, the pyramids are not the only attraction awaiting people who go on Egypt holidays - the country has far more to offer.

The bustling city of Cairo is a must-see on Middle East holidays - the Egypt Museum is home to numerous treasures relating to the boy king Tutankhamen. Egypt is also known for its famous River Nile, which can be explored on a relaxing boat trip. Water sports are a major attraction on the nation's Red Sea coast, where the creatures of the deep can be discovered on scuba diving trips.

Across the Gulf of Aqaba, Jordan holidays are also a popular for travellers. The lost city of Petra rivals the pyramids as a stunning natural site - this ancient rock-carved dwelling comprises around 800 structures, including monuments and temples. A trip across the wild deserts of Wadi Rum will be a truly magical experience, offering a chance for quiet reflection as you sleep under the stars.

Perhaps the best way to see what Egypt and Jordan have to offer is to book a Middle East tour of both - the memories will truly last a lifetime.

Family Adventure Holidays in The Middle East

In light of political demonstrations across the Middle East region, please be assured that as a responsible tour operator we are led by the Foreign Office’s advice, and we never sell or send people to destinations where it is not recommended to travel.

Currently all our family holidays and trips are running as normal and a point for consideration is that as there are a reduced number of travellers in the region at the moment, traditional honey pot destinations such as Petra and The Pyramids are a lot quieter.

While the closest some package holiday trips get to historical discovery is an afternoon in the local castle, family Middle East holidays bring culture and history to life for little ones. Children have long been fascinated by the life and times of the boy king Tutankhamen and heading to Egypt to see the pyramids and view artefacts in Cairo's Egypt Museum is a great way for them to learn more. Fewer kids may have heard about Petra than the pyramids, but that makes it no less exciting - the looks on their faces as they look at the giant rock-cut structures in Jordan's ancient city will say it all.

As you may expect, both countries get pretty hot at the height of summer - so ensure kids use plenty of sun cream and drink lots of water. Being sensible and assessing youngsters' abilities is the key to a safe trip. From camel rides and visits to the Valley of the Kings to boat trips up the River Nile, kids will barely have time to stop for breath on their Middle East family adventure holidays.
