Since 1998

Meeting people from different places with different personalities, being able to explore new places, learning about different cultures, I love trekking and I'm paid for what I love to do. :-)
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened on a tour?
Once on a trek to Narfu in the Annapurna region, one of our clients taught the local girls the 'Macarena' dnace.
In your mind, what is the best place to visit in your country?
Even though trekking is very popular in Nepal, the Kathmandu Valley offers varied activities that range from light trekking to deep cultural exploration. The vally boasts 7 World Heritage Sites that are rich, exotic and unique in their own ways. The Valley's cultural and religious wealth offers ample opportunities to those who want to learn about Nepal.
In your mind, what is the most interesting custom in your country?
There are two customs that are the most interesting. The first one is the custom of worshipping a Buddhist girl-child as 'Kumari', a living Hindu goddess. The second is the custom of worshipping and venerating a person when he/she reaches 77 years. It actually reflects how Nepali custom respects mankind in all it's glory.
In your mind, what is the most important phrase to know?
We are going to have a great trip!
In your mind, when is the best time to visit and why?
Everyone says October-November is the best time to visit Nepal because of tthe weather and festivals, so it is very busy at this time of year. But I think it will be beter in spring - February to April as flowers bloom, the mountains open up and the weather is great for treks. It is also the best time for seeing animals and birds as well as for festivals. We have festivals throughout the year.
In your mind, what are the most important items to pack for your tour?
Complete itinerary, first aid kit, passport copies, flash light, multi plug converter, dietary list, visa, insurance, air tickets, phone numbers of hotels etc.
