What is your travel experience/background?
I started in 2007 leading groups in the High Atlas Mountains as it is my original area, and started with The Adventure Company last year after training courses that we had from our local company.
What is your favourite activity /event on the trips you lead?
My favourite activity is walking through a high Atlas Mountains range, meeting a local family, all the variety, action, fun but most of all safety.
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is to make everyone of the people happy that they have confidence in our company and our country, that they have a good time, also discovering the amazing natural places in my country .
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened on a tour?
I made all of the group cross a river and then I fell in the water.
In your mind, what is the best place to visit in your country?
The best place to visit in my country is the high Atlas Mountains
In your mind, what is the most interesting custom in your country?
Traditional dress and music in the wedding feast, hospitality of the Berber people living in the high Atlas Mountains.
In your mind, when is the best time to vist and why?
Autumn and winter periods for those looking for a challenge and walking in the snow.

Our Moroccan guides for this trip -'Winter Toubkal' were Mohammed and Khaled. They were absolutely excellent, in particular Mohammed as our lead guide provided for all our needs. He couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy and at all times we felt safe and in very capable hands. They had excellent local knowledge and were very open and happy to describe local customs and traditions. What can I say - Mohamed (Lead guide) and Mohamed (second guide) were excellent. I felt totally confident in their ability and would have to say having been on quite a few international trekking trips in the past few years, they are definitely the best guides we have had. They kept an inexperienced group of ice walkers very safe during this trip to Mount Toubkal in a most relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to them both that I managed with my vertigo fear to get to the top of Toubkal and back again. This would not have happened without a 'helping hand' from both. Thanks to them...
